Do Not Waste Time – C.S. Lewis
As I prepared to write the readings for this last week, I am sitting at my desk realizing it will need to be cleaned out by tomorrow. The movers are coming to take it to the house. As many of you know, underneath the glass on top, I have a multitude of pictures and quotes shared with me during the years. So, this week, I share with you quotes and writings that have meant a great deal to me that I have placed here since we moved to Carthage.
In his book Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis wrote, “Do not waste time bothering whether you ‘love’ your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him.”
